Word reaches Vanguard Towers, that Billy McBungle is to become the Scottish Scum’s new comedy correspondent. In today’s rhag Mr McBungle confirms many Rangers fans’ belief that some Celtic supporters are more driven by a hatred for Rangers football club than by a love for their own club. Coming in the week after McBungle’s classic rant that Rangers have had all the major decisions in Old Firm Games for the last 50 years, McBungle has a rant at Celtic in a forlorn attempt to get some pleasure out of this season for the beleaguered bheast. He asks that Celtic do everything in their capability to prevent The Rangers winning the Treble: “NOT winning the league is a hard enough prospect for the Celtic players. But Rangers winning the TREBLE would surely be an even worse scenario. It's why I expect every one of Tony Mowbray's players at Kilmarnock on Saturday to make sure they do everything they can to reach the Scottish Cup semi-finals.” “My Celtic team was able to deny Rangers a clean sweep in 1989 with a memorable final triumph at Hampden. It gave me and everyone at the club enormous satisfaction.” Thinking back to McBungles “50 Year” rant (http://sport.scotsman.com/celticfc/Billy-McNeill-Big-decisions-always.6115205.jp), VB would like to point out the following Roy Aitken stole a throw in that was Rangers’ and your team of victims cheated your way to a goal. Terry Butcher then had a perfectly good goal chopped off. Even the BBC admit this: PS: When you refer to "my successful seasons as player and manager". I'm assuming that doesn't include 1986 - 87? What a record you set that season! John McCrae
